| Michael picked for hurdles event in National Championships |
Michael Lehlohonolo, an under 15 years old student is
representing his school in hurdle athletics competitions. Despite not
having any hurdles to practice with, he competed in the District
as well as the Gauteng Province Championships. He achieved a 1st
place during the Gauteng Championships and advanced to the National
Championships to participate for National Colours.
Unfortunately he
was not successful but gave it his best. Just imagine what he can achieve
with hurdles to practice with and a sportsfield to practice on!! We will
follow his progress closely and keep you up to date of his achievements.
